Owner of a trading company.

Studied Business Administration.

Among his main interests: Reading and Travel (92 countries and growing).

Member of several local and international associations.

Recipient of the National Medal of Merit awarded by the President of the Republic of Lebanon.

Founder of Lions Eye Center-Lebanon 1996.

President, Mediterranean Observatory Council from 2007 to 2009.

Global Membership Team (GMT) Area Leader from 2008 to 2014.

Adviser of the Mediterranean Observatory Council from 2009 to 2013.

Recipient of three International Leadership Awards.

Recipient of 15 International President Awards.

Recipient of the Ambassador of Goodwill Award.

Recipient of many local and international recognitions/awards.

Attended 28 consecutive International Conventions from 1988 to 2015.

Attended over 100 Area Forums & Regional Conferences held around the world.

Attended Lions Day at the United Nations five times in New York & Vienna.

Visited Headquarters in Oak Brook over 20 times.

Visited more than 92 countries, mostly for Lions events.

Frequent Presenter / Speaker at International and Regional Conferences.

Multilingual Couple, with Salim fluent in three languages and Alia fluent in five.
